“I hope this song serves an uplifting anthem to all who listen. We won’t be silent anymore!”

Teenear

Miami native Teenear returns with her powerful new single “ Free ”, a riveting ode to the Black Lives Matter movement taking place in the United States, UK and now pretty much all over the world.

I refuse to live my life in fear / I found the strength in me to just go head’ and kick down that door and say, GO BE FREE!

The new track and visual represents a response to the protests that have swelled across the United States where protesters have come up against brutal and often heavy-handed tactics by law enforcement. And yet, the movement continues to grow. ‘Free !’ aims to highlight injustice as well as the perseverance and strength of black people in times of struggle.

Over the last several years, Teenear has built a large, ever-growing following through a string of heatmaking singles and remixes. Drawing from musical influences that range from SZA to Rihanna, Teenear has garnered praise from outlets like Vibe and Billboard , and collaborators like Sage the Gemini , Lil Baby , Fetty Wap , and labelmate Trina , who was featured on the singer’s dancehall inspired “Streetlights” remix in 2016.
